Subject I am enjoy

Last year I decided to study French, it's completely autonomous because I only bought an app and I started with French. I like to study it because it's fun and it's not easy but it motivates me to continue until I can master the language completely.

My real motivation to learn French is born of the crazy idea of going to live in Montreal, Canada. It's a dream for me, even though English is spoken in the city, French is the second most spoken language in that sector.

Over time, I've not only learned to write it, read it, talk it (a little) use it when I need something, I can basically communicate very basic.

Before I started studying French I always thought it would be very difficult, actually it's, but it's not impossible, with time and practice what cost me most, the accents, now I can already master a little more.

I hope to continue practicing, I wish to have the opportunity to talk to the natives of France and try my French.

In the future, I wish I could practice my career in Montreal, I am very excited to be a parvulo educator in the first world, to be able to speak English and French, are my goals and I really hope my dreams come true.

How can my major make the world a better place?

My major is a kindergarten educator, specializing in initial education, children from 0 to 6 years old. Initial education is the basis for the social and emotional education of the human being. 

How? we educate friendly people, aware of their environment and of themselves. Thus making the world a more empathetic and pleasant one. 

In the same way, I see myself as part of the process of children, my work is extremely important and I feel completely prepared to change the world by educating new generations, contributing from love, education and always remembering that children are protagonists of their own development. 

The new generations are in charge of turning around the disaster that humans have done to the planet, either at the level of global warming, as the retrograde thinking of many humans. 

For that reason a good comprehensive initial education, contributes positively to society, and not only that, but also to self manage as rational and thinking human beings.

My admiration for Maria Montessori

One person I admire in the area of ​​education is Maria Montessori (1870), the first Italian female doctor and creator of the Montesorri method.

Before I tell you a little more about her, I want to say why she is so important to me. For me, Maria Montessori is a revolutionary in early childhood, her method is the most successful for educating children who are protagonists of their own development, highlighting independence and initiative as the main concepts of the method. I really believe that we should all educate from this methodology, so that people become more human and aware of their environment.

So, that you know a little more about it, I can tell you that the Montessori method is not used in Chile on a large scale, there are very few centers that use this curriculum.

Maria Montessori passed away in 1952 but her legacy through the Montessori method remains intact, I really hope that over time more educational institutions will accept this method as a way of educating, providing children with a comprehensive and fruitful development.

French fries as my way of life

My favorite food is french fries for one simple reason.

I am a vegetarian and when I go out to eat it is difficult to find a place where they serve food without animal suffering or meat (not really if you are looking for a good place to eat).

It’s very easy to cook this, you just need to peel the potato and cut it into sticks and then fry. I love it because the taste is delicious, but I really like potatoes in all their forms, such as mashed, boiled, fried, baked. For me, potatoes are the best food and root vegetable.

When I eat french fries I feel very happy, it's like my serotonin and keeps me cheerful for the rest of the day.

The health of my body is really bad because I usually eat things with a lot of oil and yes, of course I know! but it’s hard for me not eat potatoes and fried things.

I promise in the future to change the way I eat and have more health, but for now the French fries stay in my strange way of eating, it is strange because sometimes I eat potatoes for breakfast but I don’t regret it for now.

The story of my favorite photo!

This is my favorite photo with my little sister, she is a bit shy so we don't usually have many photos. Her name is Joseffa and she is 9 years younger than me, so since she was born my role has been more that of a mom.

The meaning of this photo is not a big deal, just me and my sister in one of our many trips about 5 years ago, we were on vacation and we wanted a photo from behind holding hands because the landscape was very beautiful and green, I think that this photo was taken in the south of Chile but I don't know exactly where.

I love this photo because it makes me nostalgic, I am proud of my sister and of everything she has achieved in her young age. Watching her grow is the most beautiful thing that has happened to me. For me, she is the reason for who I am and what I do.

My favorite piece of technology

Today I’m going to write about my favorite piece of technology, it’s name is lightstick used in 2006, not officially in Japan for super junior (korean group) but officially created in 2010 in South Korea for BIGBANG, Korean kpop group. Today, kpop fans all over the world use the lightstick. It’s function is to shine during concerts, it’s a type of lantern of different models to represent each kpop group and show our support as fans.

In my everyday life I don't use the lightstick, but it’s so nice to see and I can imagine when I will use it for the first time. The name of my lightstick is Nachimbong representing stray kids, a kpop boy group and candybong belonging to twice, a kpop girl group. I can control the light through an application, change the colors and lower the intensity, is really so nice and entertaining.

If you are a kpop fan I totally recommend buying a lightstick and using it at concerts, it will give you a greater experience!

My favorite concert

My first concert was when I was 12 years old, at that time I was a big fan of "Violetta" it was one of the best concerts of my life, over the years I have been able to attend many more, like Matt Hunter, Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Selena Gomez, Jack and Jack, Justin Bieber, Five seconds of summer, Cami and others, I currently have a ticket to the Louis Tomnlinson concert. Most of these concerts have been held in the "Movistar Arena" actually it’s like my second home. 

The best concert of my life is that of Harry Styles it was on May 25, 2018 at movistar arena, I attended with my best friend and I was very close to Harry, I sang and screamed so much that I lost my voice.

He’s a British singer, songwriter, actor and model for Gucci, a member of One Direction, but in reality the band has been inactive for years. I’m a "directioner" (name of one direction fans) since 2012, but now im not a fan of the pop because i discovered the kpop so now I’m a kpoper.

During the concert the atmosphere was incredible, we were many people, all singing, dancing and shouting, there were many banners and colored lights, we created a rainbow tide and Harry laught and smiling so much so I really enjoyed this concert, being in front of the person who is the cause of your happiness is priceless, each concert is important to me, each concert is part of me, I hope to continue enjoying new concerts with the people I love.

I’m here to show you a small part of my life, my name is Jovanka but please call me Jovi because I don’t like my name, I’m twenty years old but actually I look younger, I was born on February 23 while Myriam Hernandez sang at the “festival de viña del mar”, all my life I have lived in Maipú in a small house but very comfortable for me, I live with my grandparents, my mother, my sister and my little bunny, her name is "morita" and she’s the most cutest bunny in the world, I promise you.

I’m currently obsessed with makeup, pink colour, kpop and asian dramas, these things make my life a little easier and happier.
